Adin Ross, the world’s highest-paid live streamer, has issued a public apology for his controversial remarks on the mental health of professional boxer Ryan Garcia.
Ross had previously stated that he could hear Garcia having “a little bit of a breakdown” during a phone call, which sparked outrage from Garcia’s fans and supporters.
Ross admitted that his comments were “uneducated and insensitive” and that he did not intend to mock or belittle Garcia’s struggles.
He also said that he had reached out to Garcia personally to apologize and offer his help.
Ross claimed that he was a fan of Garcia and that he respected his courage and talent as a boxer.
Garcia, who is scheduled to fight Devin Haney on April 20th, has been vocal about his mental health issues on social media, revealing that he suffers from anxiety and depression.
